Is Now a Good Time to Sell a Home in Volusia County?
Volusia County's market is not frozen, but it is more balanced than the rapid seller's market of a few years ago. Realtor.com reported Volusia County as a balanced market in May 2026, with homes selling at about 97% of list price and a median of about 70 days on market.
That means sellers can still succeed, but the strategy matters.
The homes performing best today are usually the ones that are priced correctly, presented well, and launched with strong marketing. Buyers have more choices, and they are comparing condition, location, insurance costs, and overall value more carefully than before.
